Why this blog?
1) There's a lot of blogs of all kinds around..why another one? First of all I really love my sneakers and I often find myself with trouble when trying to find some info on models, sizes etc..- especially as I am a girl, a lot of sites focus on guys crepes making it tough for, us, ladies.
Yes, there are many sites but for me they often lack practical info (sorry guys!) I wanted to create a blog where I can give my tips and opinions on the ones I happen to purchase and hopefully help y'alls with your "1st world dilemmas" such as size model, colour & availability ;) Note: I'm not an expert, just an enthusiast, my opinions are usually subjective.
2) Not another "travel blog" ;) -I guess since 80% of my year I spend away from home, so why not share my experiences with the www. Plus gotta make the blog less materialistic. As they say the only things you get richer from is travel ;) (+ kicks of course )
Let's start..
My recent purchase involved the "Nike Air Huarache Womens Bone Sail"
This is my first pair of this particular nike sneaker model. First of all I never was fond of the visuals of huaarche and the available colour ways - until this one..simply had to get these.. ;)
I love neutrals in my sneaks. It makes them that much adaptable when styling. At the same time they become timeless and not just a so called "hype" buy. Additionally they're aesthetically pleasing. Here is my quick review of the kicks..
If you're considering on purchasing your first pair of this nike model, in 90% percent of cases you'll have to go up from 1/2- 1 size up. Huaraches are a tight fit (and are meant to be), however don't over exaggerate with the size either- they will look simply unflattering.
I'm usually a US 7 in most nike shoes..in these I went for the 7,5.
I like the snug fit so I didn't take a whole size bigger (they looked too wide;/ )
I bought mine from www.runcolors.pl - one of my go to sneaker stores here in Poland - always stocked with fresh crepes.

BALI
On the travel front, I wanted to blog some of the photos which I took in Bali last year (2014). It was my first trip to South East Asia and I really enjoyed it. Bali is pure paradise, whether you're gonna end up staying at a 5 star resort or in a $10 a day shack, enjoy it. After travelling around Europe I was keen to see something different. The Indonesian culture gave me just that. These photos were taken in East & South Bali, all by me. This is how I saw the Island!I'm a sucker for a sunset (as you will tell). Hope you'll enjoy them. Also if you have any questions about Bali, mail away!
Travel checklist
-Check required vaccinations
-Passport validity and visa requirements
-Book a ticket (one way?)
Once there, you should probably check out:
-Ubud and it's rice paddies
-Watch a sunset at Uluwatu's Single Fin
-Stay for a night or two in Seminyak
-Have a milkshake at Kelly's Warung at Bingin beach
-Check out the full moon party at Padang Padang
-Climb the Gnung Agung volcano
-If you have the time definitely go to some of the neighbouring islands e.g. the Gilis, Nusa Lembogan..
-Go out in Kuta!! (it's an experience) :)
Dreamland Beach Sunset
Sandy break in between Bingin and Balangan. Always a wise choice if you don't wanna get cut by the reef.
Padang Padang sunsets..
from a hidden lookout spot located between Bingin Beach and the main beach of Padang Padang.
Lookout point at the Volcano & Rice paddies
- Central Bali
Bingin Beach
Most amazing sunsets..
Balangan Beach
Bingin Puppy
Jasri Beach, Karangasem
-Hidden in Karangasem county, near Candidasa. Finding this beach is not easy. You have to go through villages, rice fields and properties. This whole area has a proper rustic feel to it, minus the beachfront villas. It's also a spot where the locals surf, away from the touristic crowds. Some cool homestays can be found nearby. Perfect if you hate crowds and overly touristic locations. Here you'll find some peace of mind..
Hope you found this review useful, if you have any questions drop a mail, laters. MK
