Kick #3 Vans X & Other Stories collab + Warsaw

Hey all!

Just finished my 3rd year of Medschool - so literally at a half way point of getting there- stoked. On another note, it's summer..so I have another pair of kicks lined up for you guys..winning.

Here it is - a very impromptu purchase from the Vans X & Other Stories collab. The collection features also slip ons in the same colour tone as well as an alternate, what I would call- "dalmatian" inspired design. Photos below ;)

I purchased the Vans Old Skool model in this lovely beige colour.
I like the clean simplicity of the design - very scandinavian. I think Vans should do more collabs such as this, right? :D

Size wise I stuck to my traditional 38. I used to wear Vans 24/7 so that's the size I always went for. It's a perfect fit. Take note that these shoes are made from leather, so they're not that breathable. If you're looking for a lighter sneaker, maybe choose a different model which is fabric based.

I purchased this one directly from & Other Stories' online UK store, where they cost me 80 pounds plus some shipping payment.

You can purchase this model at www.stories.com

The clean form, old skool design and the leather finish. What a perfect combination..

Alternate designs from the collaboration..

WARSAW, PL

Something a little less exotic on the travelling side of things..
Just posting up some photos of my recent trip to Warsaw.

Warsaw is a beautiful, historical City - which, unfortunately got severely damaged during the war, at one point it was pretty much equated with "nothing", that's how heavily it got bombed.

Warsaw, tells a story of survival of a country severely affected by many international conflicts. I have to show a little bit of patriotism so here's Warsaw..

If you happen to be in these parts of the World.. Be sure to check out:

-Nowy Swiat Street
-Plac Wolnosci
-The Grand National Theatre
-Lazienki gardens
-The presidential palace
-Some restaurants in Old Town
-Nightlife by the river is vibrant be sure to drop into "Temat Rzeka"-
-Palace of culture & science - our tallest building;) !
-National Museum & Zacheta museum of Art

Most of these places of interest are really within walking distance. I believe you get to know a place by walking around and getting lost in it's streets. Be sure to explore anything else that captures your attention!

People are warm and friendly. Polish people are known of their hospitality and in most places you'll surely be able to communicate in English.

Warsaw has a lot to offer and caters for all, be sure to check it out if you're near by!
